Privacy Policy

How we collect, use and protect your personal information.

Last updated: June 19, 2026

1. Who we are

UnicyVinci is a private growth platform offered as software-as-a-service (SaaS) to real estate agencies, brokers and teams. It is operated by Unicy, a Canadian company based in Montreal, Quebec, Canada ("Unicy", "we", "our"). For any question about this policy: [email protected].

This policy is written in accordance with Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector, as modernized by Law 25, and with Canada's PIPEDA.

2. Scope

This policy applies to the UnicyVinci public website and application, to individuals who create an account (clients, agency administrators, brokers, team members), to visitors of sites and pages published through the platform, and to individuals whose information is entered into the platform by our clients.

3. Privacy Officer

In accordance with Law 25, Unicy has designated an officer responsible for overseeing compliance with this policy and handling your requests: Unicy, email [email protected].

4. Our role: controller or processor

UnicyVinci is a multi-tenant platform. Our legal role varies depending on the data. We act as controller of information related to the direct contractual relationship (account data, credentials, billing, public-site technical data). We act as processor of the information our clients enter into the platform about their own contacts, inquiries and clients: in that case, the client remains the controller and we process this information on their behalf. A data processing agreement is available on request at [email protected].

5. Information we collect

Account information: name, email, phone, agency name, role, credentials.

Billing information: plan, history. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store credit card numbers.

Content and client data: property listings, page content, contacts, inquiries (leads), campaigns.

Usage and technical data: IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, connection logs, cookies.

Information from public forms: transmitted to the client who operates the relevant page.

6. Why and on what basis

We use your information to provide and maintain the platform, manage your account and subscription, process payments, communicate with you, ensure security, improve our services and comply with legal obligations. Processing is based on your consent, performance of the contract, our legitimate interests and our legal obligations. You may withdraw your consent at any time, subject to the limits provided by law.

7. Sharing and providers (sub-processors)

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with providers necessary to operate the platform: DigitalOcean (hosting, Canada); Stripe (payments, US/Ireland); Mailtrap (transactional email); OpenAI (Vinci assistant, US); outstand.so (social media); Cloudflare (form protection, Turnstile); Centris/QPAREB via Dsignica (real estate data, Canada). This list may change; each provider offers an adequate level of protection contractually.

8. Transfers outside Quebec

Some providers process data outside Quebec, including in the US. Before any transfer, and in accordance with Law 25, we conduct an assessment of the sensitivity of the information, the purpose, the protection measures and the applicable legal framework. By using the platform, you acknowledge that your information may be processed outside Quebec and Canada.

9. Retention and deletion

We retain your information for as long as your account is active and as necessary for the described purposes, or to comply with legal obligations. A client's data is deleted only upon request (see the Data Deletion page), subject to information we must retain by law.

10. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures: encryption in transit, hosting on a recognized cloud infrastructure, per-tenant data isolation, access controls and logging. No system is infallible. In the event of an incident presenting a risk of serious harm, we will notify affected individuals and the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.

11. Cookies

See our Cookie Policy for details and to manage your preferences.

12. Your rights

Subject to law, you may access your information, have it corrected, request its deletion, withdraw your consent, request its portability and file a complaint. To exercise a right: [email protected]. We generally respond within 30 days and may ask you to confirm your identity. If your information was entered by a client, please direct your request to that client.

13. Minors

The platform is intended for professionals and is not directed at persons under 18.

14. Changes

We may amend this policy. Material changes will be communicated by email or by notice within the application.
